ADOPTION DONATION: $600.

Sully was surrendered into a high kill shelter in Tn. and the staff could not believe it, so they avoided putting him out to be seen and suddenly his time was up when our rescue partner saw him and grabbed him out just in time.

While fostering him, we found out that he is loving and friendly.

He gets along with a variety of dogs and when not playing he is just as happy to jump into your lap!

He isn't even bothered by you working on the computer.....but does require some petting while you are working.

He hasn't been left alone, so we would like to adopt him to a family that will not leave him for the usual 8 hour work day.

We do want a fenced yard for him to run around and folks who take their dogs everywhere with them as he is SMALL enough to go with you.

We feel he is a Shihtzu mix, perhaps poodle or havanese or even llapso.

He does have an overbite with one tooth that sticks out at a forty five degree angle which gives him CHARACTER.

Sully is about 3 years old, neutered and fully vetted.

Please understand that as these dogs are fostered we do get to know them and have a good idea of their forever home. We do NOT save applications, but

you may put multiple names on one applIcation.

We do not choose by a first come first serve basis.

So if the dog is still up on the site, consider the dog AVAILABLE.

We do take down quickly when adopted.

If you don't see any information you need to know, we probably don't have an answer....like cats...idk...
WE DO REQUIRE A PHYSICAL FENCE for most dogs as they have gotten used to be outside.

We do not transport dogs MORE THAN 50 MILES.We ask that you live within 50 miles of the dog's location. We are an all volunteer organization and can only respond when a completed application is filed. We do list our requirements, so please read carefully. Sometimes the ad states the date the dog is expected to arrive into Rhode Island....so please don't be discouraged if you don't hear right back. All dogs are adopted through contract.
